Administration Overview

wbTeamPro is a feature rich Project Management suite designed to integrate seamlessly with the WHMCS billing system.

Project records are the keystone for all data stored within wbTeamPro. The data that is stored in wbTeampro are associated with various elements of the WHMCS system. These relationships within WHMCS are a bridge between the power of WHMCS and the wbTeamPro Project Management system.

Top & Sidebar Menu

From the top menu, the "Project" drop-down menu provides navigation quick access to the key areas of the wbTeamPro system. The main navigation is organized into the following sections:

  • Dashboard
    This page will show a cumulative display of activity across all projects visible to the user.

  • Projects
    This listing will display all ACTIVE project available to the user.

    • Assigned Projects
      This listing will display only projects that have been assigned to the user.

    • My Projects
      This listing will display only projects that are managed by the user.

    • New Project
      This will open a blank project record. The record will not become an actual project until saved for the first time.

    • Archived Projects
      This listing will display all ARCHIVED projects available to the user.

    • Project Templates
      This listing will display all TEMPLATE projects available to the user.

  • Actions
    This listing will display all active actions available to the user.

    • Incomplete Tasks
      This listing will display only actions that are less than 100% complete and available to the user.

    • Assigned Actions
      This listing will display only actions that have been assigned to the user.

    • My Actions
      This listing will display only actions that are managed by the user.

  • Files
    This listing will display files for all projects and actions available to the user.

    • My Files
      This listing will display only files that are owned or started by the user.
  • Discussions
    This listing will display discussions for all projects and actions available to the user.

    • My Discussions
      This listing will display only discussions that are owned or started by the user.
  • Tickets
    This listing will display all tickets for projects and actions available to the user.

    • My Tickets
      This listing will display only tickets that have been related to projects managed by the user.
  • Time Log
    This listing will display time logs for all projects and actions available to the user.

    • My Time Logs
      This listing will display only time logs that have been created by the user.
  • System
    The system area, visible only to users with "Super Admin Roles", is dedicated to core configuration and system feature management.

    • Configuration
      The configuration section provides several pages of customization options for your installation.

    • Plugins
      The plugins section provides a list of the plugins currently installed with your installation.

    • Check for Updates
      The update section provides information on new wbTeamPro packages available for installation.

    • Help & Support
      This link opens the wbTeamPro website where links for documentation and support tickets can be found.

Page Navigation Header

Located at the top of each navigation list will be search filters, followed by a navigation bar displaying the total records found for your query. The results for your query are divided into pages based on the "Page Listing Limit" value defined in the display configuration. The "Prev" and "Next" and "Jump To Page" area provides an alternate methods for traversing your filtered results.

Sorting Lists

All management lists can be re-ordered by clicking on the header label for the column you wish to sort. An arrow will designate which column is currently being actively sorted, and the direction for the sort (either Ascending or Descending). Clicking the header a second time will reverse the order of sort.

Located at the top of each list display is a set of nagivation and search filters, initially collapsed under the "Search/Filters" tab. When filters are activated, the "Search/Filters" tab will automatically expand after each page refresh. The number of results on each page defaults to a system wide listing limit, and can be overwritten by changing the Limit value. To navigate between pages you will either press the "Previous / Next Page" links, or select a page from the "Jump to Page" select list.

Some lists within the system will provide additional display modes, presented as icons to the left of the navigation bar.

Exporting Data

Export Button

Many of the lists within wbTeamPro provide an export feature that will generate a CSV (Comma Seperated Values) file that you may download and use with applications like Google Docs Spreadsheet. On pages where exporting is available, the "Export" button will be shown on the Page Navigation bar for the listing. The export feature will utilize the Filter criteria specified for the list, allowing you to export items that are most relevant. Export lists are not divided into pages and will include all records found for the query.

Access Level Filtering

Inherent in every manageable list is a backend filter that restricts the display of projects and project related assets from the view of non-priviledged users. Learn more about Visible filtering under the Managing Access section of our documentation.

Some of the drop-down select fields found throughout the system will provide an optional "Multiple Select" clipboard icon, which will activate a multiple selection dialog.

Included with wbTeamPro is a dynamic Client and Project selector that integrates with existing "Client" dialogs throughout the WHMCS system, providing a simplified method for searching and selecting the appropriate Project or Client ID for the field or filter.

When Dynamic Selections are available, the Magnifier icon will appear to the left of the input field. Click on the Magnifier icon to open / close the selection dialog. Using the query search field you can enter your criteria and the list will automatically update with matching results. To select a result simply click on the desired row and the value will be inserted into the original field.
